Program Overview

The goal of the Junior Thunder Program is to teach the fundamentals of volleyball to beginning players, generally under 12 years old. This club team is for practice only (no tournaments are planned).  The Junior Thunders will practice on about ten Sunday afternoons during January - April at Albany Academy for Girls (AAG). Exact dates and times for practices will be determined as the season progresses, depending in part on the practice and tournament schedules for our older teams.  Cost of the program is $120 per player, and all participants must register with USA Volleyball (see registration instructions on our home page).  The program is coached by Jim Lemire, with help from other NET coaches and older players.  Be sure to check the NET volleyball website regularly for updates.
